Who is Grace?
Grace Beene is (at least according to her research) the youngest comic shop owner in the world. She's been obsessed with comics since she was a kid and wants more than anything to give that same joy to others.

When she's not reading the latest issue of Ms. Marvel or searching for her favorite DC relics online, she's acting in community theater, working for Cloud Real Estate or writing something.Â
Our story
Grace first got into comics thanks to her dad, Logan Beene, who got into comics thanks to his grandfather Thurman Beene Sr. As a kid he would show her Superman media, and tout his original Wolverine issues while explaining the Lantern Core to her.
Grace started collecting when she was 12, started writing her own from 14 to 17, then took a break to go to college for Journalism at Texas Tech. Star Comics in Lubbock reignited her passion and after moving back home she began setting up her dream shop.Â

It's her hope to one day get a store front for Grace's Place and give back to the amazing community that made her who she is today, but for now she's content with going to incredible markets and events!
